“This a photo of my friend Niall’s father who did a Ph.D. on elephant seals back in the day. I met Niall this year while he was working on his Ph.D on tapirs in Honduras.
This is a man who rowed across the Atlantic ocean, crossed Greenland by foot, bicycled through India on highest road in the world and never said no to a venomous snake in his life. He’s a great guy and I can assert the fact that his entire family is as eclectically adventurous as he. Here is an article chronicling one of his recent adventures with another dear friend of mine.”
